Jon Sievers | Board Secretary
“One of my favorite quotes is - perhaps unsurprisingly - said by Faramir in the Lord of the Rings, Two Towers: ‘I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend.’ I believe a classical Christian school is a faithful answer to God's calling to build and defend because Jesus is the King of the nations.”
Jon and his wife, Mary, are a founding family of NCCA and says that this has pushed him outside of his comfort zone. With encouragement of pastors at Sacred City Church, his head and heart were changed to want to sacrifice comfort, accept the risk of failure, and with God’s blessing, build and defend NCCA in order that it will last for the generations. Jon works in Intellectual Property Counsel at John Deere and enjoys golfing and gardening. Jon lives on a farm west of the Quad Cities with his wife, Mary, and their four children.
