House Structure at NCCA
The house system is designed to organize and enrich our student body by grouping pupils across the trivium together to grow in school spirit, virtue, wisdom, faith, friendship and courage.
At New City Classical Academy, we have four houses this year. We desire our discipleship of students to be from their parents and teachers, but also one another. The house structure allows students to be accountable to one another and to point each other to Christ. Meaningful relationships between families across age groups that spread encouragement, accountability, mentorship, challenge, and joy is the house system’s primary goal.
House Anselm, Athanasius, Boniface, and Augustine enjoyed their first house competition in September of 2024. Our houses are named after saints, a kind of “archetype” we want our dragonslayers to strive for in character, faith, and excellence.
